Family Field Day- Zemba Bros., Inc.’s family field day is the event that is closest to our hearts.  This event was born from an idea that children of all ages should see what it is like to play in the dirt and live on a farm.  In the early days, we created the event around 4 pieces of small excavating equipment that each child had the opportunity to run with the assistance of our employees, a small petting zoo and a straw maze.  Over the years, the event has grown to approximately 15 pieces of equipment, a complete petting zoo, a straw maze, pony rides, archery demonstrations, clowns, and tractor pulls, etc.  This project is made possible by the hard work of our employees who donate their time, our corporate sponsors that provide the much needed money to fund such a project and the eager children that wait tirelessly in the lines to operate their favorite construction machine.  Lunch is provided for $1.00 with all the proceeds going to local charities.  Over the past 7 years, we have been able to donate over $10,000 to local organizations including but not limited to The Boys Scouts of America, John Glenn FFA, and Forever Dads.  We believe in this project because we have seen the effects a positive day spend with family can have.  Thank you to everyone who has been a part of this wonderful event.  We plan to continue making Zemba Family Field Day better with each passing year.  The smiles on the many children’s faces are truly priceless.
